Kiko has been many places, she has seen many faces.
She has seen faces of all proportions, round, flat, square, diamond.
She has seen faces of many races. Brown, yellow, white. Faces that all look beautiful in the light.
She has heard many languages, tongues she cannot understand.
She has met friend and foe, young and old.
Kiko has explored the Americas.
She has picked up sticks of many flavors, juniper, oak, yucca, redwood, among some. They can be young, mushy, old, or blooming.
She has seen saguaros that dwarf her,
Chollas that resemble her,
Desert sides enveloped in Joshua trees,
Sand that burns her feet and red Earth bountiful beneath her reach.
Kiko has met ungulates, bovines, equines, repitles, and amphibians, and has been friend to all.
She has slept with cats, dogs, baby cows, grown horses, and human friends from all over the world.
Kiko has snuck sanwhiches, sausages, snacks, cheese platters, and birthday cake.
Kiko has dashed through the west,
Rocky Mountains spilling out from beneath her chest. Roaring rivers fed by snow and startled by spring into a flow.
She has played upon mountain tops, ice caves, and canyon slots.
Been pricked, stabbed, slashed, and stung.
She has been pushed over by wind, buried by snow, scraped up by rivers, and rain has soaked her to the bone.
Kiko can bubble a laugh out of the darkest moments, change your perspective, insinuate gratitude, and increase your vision.
She will be there when you are sick, broken-boned, and wordless.
She will also be there when you are surrounded by family, loved ones, and beautiful stories.
Kiko has looked upon death and the miracle of life with electric blue eyes that sparkle and mesmerize through all hues of light.
Kiko has brought comfort to many; old polish farmers, over-whelmed college students, ski-town employers, and lonely parents.
She has licked, sniffed, tasted and spat many drops of Earth.
She has brought joy and laughter and unity to collections of souls from around the world.
Kiko has lived and breathed and loved and laughed a thousand lifetimes through her nose. She has touched souls, landscapes, and tasted the infinite spice of life.
Kiko loves many, and she is massively loved by all.
